6. Place matchmarks on steering wheel and column for later assembly, then remove retaining nut and steering wheel.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

Ensure turn signal lever is in central position.

Ensure spiral spring is centered.

Torque steering wheel retaining nut to 30 ft. lbs.

Ensure no one is inside of vehicle when connecting battery ground cable.
