10. Protective cap

Attach to brake pad carrier and guide pin

Fig. 1 Removing piston from brake caliper

Remove piston by turning threaded spindle counterclockwise and knurled wheel clockwise.
Pull out sealing lip with piston.

Note:

If pistons are difficult to move, use a 73 mm wrench on the flats provided (arrow -A-).

Use screwdriver to remove sealing ring.

Note:

When removing, make sure that the cylinder bore surface is not damaged.
