Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming: Service and Repair
Disarming
Always observe safety precautions while working on air bag systems, or around system connectors. Refer to Technical Safety Information. See:

Disconnect battery ground cable and cover ground terminal.

Disconnect red voltage supply connector, located behind the lower cover on driver side of instrument panel.
