Removing and installing seat height adjustment handle

Note

Removal and installation can be performed with the front seat in position.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Improvised tool

–	Bend a screwdriver -1- with a width -2- of 3.5 mm to the dimensions:

A = 20 mm

t	B = max. 15 mm

Removing

–	Pull the seat height adjustment handle -1- upwards as far as possible and hold in this position.

–	Carefully pull the seat height adjustment handle slightly away from the front seat.

–	Insert the improvised tool -3- in the mount.

–	Pull the improvised tool in -arrow direction A- whilst pressing the spring -2- of the retaining clip outwards.

–	Detach the seat height adjustment handle from the lever -arrow B-.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

–	Replace the retaining clip at the seat height adjustment handle lever, paying attention to the installation position of the clip:

l	The springs -2- (2x) of the retaining clip -3- must be located on the outside of the lever -1-.
