Removing and installing upper rear lid trim
Removing and installing upper rear lid trim
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removal lever -80 - 200-

Removing
–  Remove the lower rear lid trim → Chapter.
–  Screw out the bolts -1, 2-.
–  Start by unclipping the upper rear lid trim -3- at the side from the rear lid using the removal lever -80 - 200--arrows A-.
–  Then unclip the upper rear lid trim from the rear lid with the removal lever -80 - 200--arrows B- and detach.

Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
–  Check whether all rubber buffers -1- and retaining clips -2- have been fitted in the trim.
–  First insert the rear lid trim behind the side window frame of the rear lid.
–  Clip in the upper rear lid trim at the top first and then at the sides.
Notes on installation: For example tightening torques, component replacement → Chapter.
