| Use a small screwdriver to pull the retaining clip -2- slightly out of the operating lever -1--arrow A-. |

| Pull the operating lever to the rear -arrow B- (this releases the front lid) and hold in this position. |
Caution | If the operating lever is pulled out at an angle, the mount could be damaged. |

| At the same time, detach the operating lever from its mount towards the centre of the vehicle, taking care to keep it absolutely horizontal -arrow C-. |
| Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following: |

| Fully insert the retaining clip in the operating lever. |
| –
| Press the operating lever onto the mount in the mounting bracket and engage. |
