Removing and installing sill panel trim
Removing and installing sill panel trim
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removal wedge -3409-

Removing
–  Starting at the front, unclip the sill panel trim -1- with the removal wedge -3409- from the sill panel -arrows A-.
–  Release the retainer tabs of the sill panel trim with the removal wedge -3409--arrow B-.
–  Pull the sill panel trim to the front out of the side trim -arrow C- and detach.

Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
–  Engage the sill panel trim -1- at the side trim -2- and slide in as far as it will go.
–  Clip in the sill panel trim at the sill panel -arrow- and fold over the lip of the door seal.
Notes on installation: For example tightening torques, component replacement → Chapter.
