Attaching roof reinforcement - equipment version with sun roof

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Assembly adhesive → Electronic parts catalogue

Sequence of operations

–	Remove the moulded headliner → Chapter.

–	Apply adhesive beads -arrow- to the roof reinforcement as shown.

l	Distance between adhesive beads -a- = approx. 90 mm.

l	Distance between centre adhesive beads -b- = approx. 100 mm.

l	Distance between outer adhesive beads and edge of roof reinforcement -c- = approx. 15 mm.

–	Centrally position the roof reinforcement -1- with respect to the outer edges and at a distance -a, b- from the bracing hoop of the roof edge at the roof.

l	Dimension -a- = 25.6 mm

l	Dimension -b- = 19 mm

–	Press the roof reinforcement from the inside onto the body roof.

Perform further installation operations in the reverse order of removal.
