Removing and installing vacuum pump for brakes -V192- |
No provision is made for repairs to vacuum pump for brakes -V192-. If a fault occurs, the vacuum pump for brakes -V192- must be renewed. |
Note The vacuum pump -V192- is fitted at the front of the engine compartment (right-side). |

| Use suitable pliers to release hose clip on vacuum hose. |

| Detach vacuum hose from vacuum pump for brakes -V192-. |
Caution Take care not to damage the vacuum hose. The vacuum hose must be renewed if it is damaged. |

| Unplug electrical connector. |
Note Unbolt the bracket to facilitate removal of the vacuum pump from the bracket. |

| Unscrew nuts for bracket. |

| Take bracket with vacuum pump out of vehicle. |

| Unfasten both clips on vacuum pump and detach. |
–
| Pull vacuum pump for brakes -V192- upwards out of bracket. |
–
| Insert vacuum pump in bracket. |
Note Make sure the vacuum pump is properly positioned in the bracket. The vacuum connection faces in the direction of travel. |

| Use the two clips to secure the vacuum pump in the bracket. |
–
| Insert the bracket with the vacuum pump in the two pins in the vehicle. |
–
| Secure bracket with two new self-locking nuts (9 Nm). |
–
| Fit new hose clip on vacuum hose. |
Caution Take care not to damage the vacuum hose. The vacuum hose must be renewed if it is damaged. |

| Use suitable pliers to fasten hose clip. |
–
| Plug in electrical connector. |
