Overview
t  → Chapter „Removing and installing pipe/hose assembly“
t  → Chapter „Bleeding clutch system“
   
1 - Clutch slave cylinder with release bearing
q   Can only be renewed after removing gearbox
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Bleeder connection
3 - Retaining clip
q   To remove and install pipe, pull out retaining clip as far as it will go
4 - Bleeder screw
q   4.5 Nm
q   Bleeding clutch system → Chapter
5 - Dust cap
6 - Retaining clip
q   To remove and install pipe, pull out retaining clip as far as it will go
7 - Seal
q   Different versions according to type of connection; for correct version refer to → Electronic parts catalogue
q   Renew if damaged
q   Push onto pipe connection
q   Lubricate with brake fluid before installing
8 - Brake fluid reservoir
9 - Seal
q   Must be fitted in supply hose
10 - Supply hose
11 - Seal
q   Must be fitted in supply hose
12 - Clutch master cylinder
q   Removing and installing → Chapter „Removing and installing mounting bracket with clutch master cylinder“
13 - Retaining clip
q   To remove and install pipe, pull out retaining clip as far as it will go
14 - Seal
q   Different versions according to type of connection; for correct version refer to → Electronic parts catalogue
q   Renew if damaged
q   Push onto pipe connection
q   Lubricate with brake fluid before installing
15 - Pipe/hose assembly
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
16 - Bracket
q   Attached to body

   
Disconnecting and connecting pipe/hose assembly from/to clutch master cylinder or bleeder connection
–  To remove, release clip -3- with a screwdriver and disconnect pipe/hose assembly -1- from clutch master cylinder or bleeder connection -4-.
  Note
Renew damaged seals -2-.
–  Press pipe/hose assembly -1- onto connection on clutch master cylinder or bleeder connection -4- so that clip -3- snaps into place.
–  Pull on pipe/hose assembly to check it is secure.

Pipe/hose assembly with seal
t  Pipe connection -arrow 1- and O-ring -1- (not fitted)
t  Pipe connection with shoulder -arrow 2- and seal -2-
t  Pipe connection with shoulder -arrow 2-, annular groove -arrow 3- and seal -3-
  Note
On the connection with annular groove -arrow 3- the seal must be inserted in the groove.
