1 - Bearing bush
q   For selector shafts
q   Always renew after removing
q   Pulling out → Fig.
q   Driving in → Fig.
2 - Reverse gear selector fork shaft
q   Installed up to gearbox manufacturing date 24 05 9 → Fig.
q   Not installed from gearbox manufacturing date 25 05 9 onwards
q   Reverse gear selector fork is then mounted together with selector fork for 5th/6th gear → Fig.
q   Shaft cannot be removed with workshop tools
q   Up to gearbox manufacturing date 24 05 9: press in new shaft if a new clutch housing is fitted → Fig.
q   Select correct components from → Electronic parts catalogue
3 - Needle bearing
q   For reverse shaft
q   Always renew after removing
q   Pulling out → Fig.
q   Pressing in → Fig.
4 - Dowel sleeve
q   2x
5 - Clutch housing
q   If renewed: Adjust output shafts and differential → Chapter
6 - Input shaft oil seal
q   Renewing → Chapter
7 - Oil seal
q   For flange shaft (right-side)
q   Renewing → Chapter
8 - Shim
q   For differential
q   Installation position: Shoulder on inside diameter faces towards oil seal → Item
9 - Tapered roller bearing outer race
q   For differential
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   If renewed: adjust differential → Chapter
10 - Oil deflector plate
q   Installation position: Shoulder on drilling faces towards output shaft
11 - Tapered roller bearing outer race
q   For 1st - 4th gear output shaft
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   If renewed: Adjust 1st - 4th gear output shaft → Chapter
12 - Tapered roller bearing outer race
q   For 5th/6th and reverse gear output shaft
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   If renewed: Adjust 5th/6th and reverse gear output shaft → Chapter
13 - Shim
q   For 5th/6th and reverse gear output shaft
q   Always 0.65 mm thick
14 - Roller bearing
q   For input shaft
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
15 - Magnet
q   Held in place by joint surface of housing
16 - Cap
q   Not fitted on all clutch housings

   
Pulling out bearing bush for selector rod
A - Counter-support, e.g. -Kukko 22/1-
B - Internal puller 14.5 ... 18.5 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/2-

Driving in bearing bush for selector rod (drive in until tool contacts stop)

Pulling needle bearing out of clutch housing
A - Counter-support, e.g. -Kukko 22/2-
B - Internal puller 23.5 ... 30 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/4-
  Note
The needle bearing is destroyed during removal and must be renewed.

Pressing needle bearing -A- into clutch housing
–  Before pressing in, place reverse shaft thrust washer -B- onto needle bearing.
