Removing
–  Remove noise insulation -1- → Rep. gr.66.
  A10-11347
–  Unplug electrical connector -2- and move wiring clear.
–  Place drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208- beneath engine.
–  Clamp off coolant hoses using hose clamps -3094-, release hose clips -1 and 3- and disconnect coolant hoses from coolant pipes (right-side).
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and detach coolant pipes (right-side).
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Coolant pipes, coolant temperature senders, pump for exhaust gas recirculation cooler - exploded view“
  Note
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Install noise insulation → Rep. gr.66.
–  Check coolant level → Anchor.
