Removing and installing Hall senderG40
Removing and installing Hall sender -G40-
Removing
   
–  Detach toothed belt from idler roller and high-pressure pump → Rep. gr.15.
  N15-10333
–  Unplug connector -1- for Hall sender -G40- and detach connector from retainer.
  Note
Disregard -items 2, 3-.

–  Unbolt Hall sender -G40--arrow-.
  A23-0257
–  Using a screwdriver, remove projections and take out cover for repair opening -arrows-.
–  Take Hall sender -G40- off cylinder head and guide connector through repair opening in toothed belt cover.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Seal repair opening in toothed belt cover with plug; for plug refer to → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Install toothed belt → Rep. gr.15.
