Removing and installing aerial amplifier for mobile telephone
Removing and installing aerial amplifier for mobile telephone
   
Aerial amplifier for mobile telephone -R86--2- is located behind glove box (right-side), near fuse holder.
Aerial amplifier for mobile telephone -R86--2- is engaged in bracket -1-.
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical equipment and remove ignition key.
Removing
–  Remove glove box → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.

Before removing aerial amplifier for mobile telephone -R86--2-, bracket -1- secured to panel section of dash panel must be removed.
The connectors on the control units remain attached.
When removing bracket, access is blocked by wiring harness going to fuse holder.
–  Remove the individual fuse strips and swivel them to the side → Electrical system; Rep. gr.97.

–  Use a small screwdriver to release the three lugs -arrows- on the bracket -1- and detach the bracket -1- inwards.
  A91-11649
–  Press retaining tabs -arrows A- outwards and take aerial amplifier for mobile telephone -R86--2- out of bracket -1- in direction of -arrow B-.
–  Release and unplug all connectors at aerial amplifier for mobile telephone -R86-.
Installing
–  Install in reverse sequence of removal.
