Adjusting headlights from left-hand traffic to right-hand traffic
Adjusting headlights from left-hand traffic to right-hand traffic
t  In countries where vehicles are driven on the opposite side of the road to the vehicle's normal environment, both headlights must be partially masked by appropriately shaped opaque masking foils to prevent oncoming traffic from being dazzled.
t  There are different masking foils available for adapting headlights for left and right-hand traffic → Electronic parts catalogue.
   
Procedure
–  Clean headlight lenses on both sides of vehicle (must be clean and dry).
–  Perform basic setting for headlights → Chapter.
Headlight (driver's side):
–  Remove protective backing from masking foil.
–  Apply masking foil -2- at edges of headlight lens -arrows-, as shown in illustration.
–  Bond masking foil -1- onto headlight lens.

Headlight (passenger's side):
–  Remove protective backing from masking foil.
–  Apply masking foil -1- at edges of headlight lens -arrows-, as shown in illustration.
–  Bond masking foil -2- onto headlight lens.
