Applying adhesive bead; distances to edge of window
1 - Rear window
q   Removing → Chapter.
2 - Adhesive bead
q   Distance from top edge of window: dimension -a-= 23 mm ± 2 mm
q   Distance from bottom edge of window: dimension -c-= 23 mm ± 2 mm
q   Distance from side edges of window: dimension -d- = 12 mm ± 1 mm
  Note
After you have applied the primer in the centre between the markings you must also apply the adhesive so that it is in the centre of the primer.
3 - Additional adhesive bead
q   Distance from top edge of window: dimension -b-= 137 mm ± 2 mm (measured in centre of vehicle)
q   Note correct distance to adhesive bead on the side → Fig..
4 - Spacers
q   Bond on in centre of markings → Anchor and → Fig..

   
Bonding on spacers
–  Detach backing foil from spacers.
–  Bond on spacers -2- in centre of markings on black ceramic band on window -1-.

Distance between additional adhesive band and adhesive bead on the side
  Note
To prevent condensation and to make sure that air can escape when installing, the second adhesive bead (at the top of the window) must be applied at distance -a- from adhesive beads on side.
–  Distance -a- from adhesive bead -2- to adhesive bead -1- must be approx. 10 mm.
