Removing

• ‒ Remove centre console,

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 68; Storage compartments, covers and trims; Removing and installing centre console

• ‒ Release handbrake.
• ‒ → Loosen the adjusting nut -4-.
• ‒ Pull the retainer -2- out of the pin -1-
• ‒ Pull the pin -1- out of the lever arm -3-
• ‒ Raise vehicle.
• ‒ Remove wheel.

• ‒ → Remove brake drum.
• ‒ Disengage handbrake cable.

• ‒ → Remove support bracket -2-
• ‒ Separate cables -3- and -4-

• ‒ → Release clip -2- and detach cable.

• ‒ → Detach the cable -1- from the handbrake cable bracket -3-

Installing

• ‒ Push in handbrake cable with guide tube.
• ‒ Engage handbrake cable at brake lever.

• ‒ Install brake drum.
• ‒ → Install pin -1- with lever arm -3- and secure

• ‒ → Engage cable in support bracket and install
  Tightening torque 10 Nm

• ‒ → Locating ring -3- at handbrake cable must be positioned in centre of fastening clip -2-
• ‒ Engage handbrake cable in bracket at axle beam.
• ‒ Install centre console,
