| Check the condensation drainage valve -B-; it must not be gummed up with wax or underseal and it must close properly. |

| Use wire, for example, to check the condensation drain on the air conditioner for contamination and clean if necessary |

| In the event of moisture in passenger compartment: |

| Check the fresh-air intake in the engine compartment and the corresponding water drainage valves → Chapter and → Chapter. |

| Check the passenger compartment forced air extraction (via the luggage compartment) → Chapter. |

| Check the signal for detecting windscreen wiper operation on the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87- → Chapter (Read the measured value block for display group“ 014”) |

| Check the various positioning motors and the appropriate levers, paying particular attention to the position of recirculated air flap positioning motor -V113- and the flaps belonging to it. |

| Check the measured value for the evaporator outlet temperature sender -G263- → Chapter (Read the measured value block, display group “007”). If the measured value from the sender is too low under the conditions of use described by the customer (colder than 0 °C for lengthy periods at an ambient temperature above 0 °C), follow the instructions on testing the refrigeration capacity → Chapter. |
