Removing
Removing
–  Remove the radio or radio/navigation system. → Electrical System; Repair group 91
–  Remove the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87- → Chapter.
–  Remove the storage compartment on the driver's side and the storage compartment underneath the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87- → General Body Repairs, Interior; Repair group 68
   
–  Reach through the opening for the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87- and unplug the connector -A-.
–  Turn the vent temperature sender -B- through approx. 90° in the direction of the arrow.
  Note
Use your other hand to push the vehicle wiring harness to the side (from the left via the opening created by removing the driver's storage compartment).
–  Pull the footwell vent temperature sender -G192- out of the air conditioner.
