q   Renew
q   25 Nm
2 - Starter catalytic converter
q   Protect against knocks and impact
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
3 - Gasket
q   Renew
4 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged
5 - Centre silencer
q   Combined in one unit with main catalytic converter as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Cutting point → Chapter
6 - Clamp (rear)
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Tighten bolt connections evenly
7 - Nut
q   23 Nm
8 - Bolt
q   23 Nm
9 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged
10 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged
11 - Rear silencer
12 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged
13 - Bracket
q   23 Nm
14 - Nut
q   M8: 23 Nm
q   M10: 40 Nm
15 - Nut
q   With bolt
q   23 Nm
16 - Nut
q   M8: 23 Nm
q   M10: 40 Nm
17 - Clamp (front)
q   For separate replacement of main catalytic converter and centre silencer
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Tighten bolt connections evenly
18 - Main catalytic converter
q   Protect against knocks and impact
q   Combined in one unit with centre silencer as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Cutting point → Chapter
19 - Gasket
q   Renew
20 - Front exhaust pipe
q   With flexible joint; do not bend flexible joint more than 10° – otherwise it can be damaged
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
21 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged

   
Installation position of front clamp
–  Install clamp so that ends of bolts do not protrude beyond bottom of clamp -arrow-.
l  Installation position: bolt connection on right
  A26-0277
Installation position of rear clamp
–  Install clamp so that bolts are positioned horizontally -arrow-.
l  Installation position: bolt connection faces downwards
