Checking tensioning roller for coupling drive toothed belt
Checking tensioning roller for coupling drive toothed belt
   
Removing
–  Remove engine mounting → Chapter.
–  Release retaining clips -arrows- and detach cover (top) for toothed belt.

–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach engine support -1-.
  A13-10530
–  Note position of indicator -1- on tensioning roller and push in toothed belt with firm thumb pressure -arrow-.
l  The indicator must move to the side.
–  Release tension on toothed belt.
–  Turn crankshaft 2 rotations in direction of engine rotation.
–  Check position of indicator on tensioning roller.
l  The indicator must move back to its normal position.
–  Renew the tensioning roller if the indicator does not return to its previous position.
Assembling
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install engine support and engine mounting → Chapter.
