2. Center section

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

When sliding in instrument panel, ensure tabs - 1 - (Qty. 2) engage in box-shaped profile on bottom side of instrument panel.

Make sure the the various attachments engage correctly (audibly).

Install passenger's airbag. Refer to => [ Front Passenger Airbag ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Front
Passenger Airbag, Servicing.

Install glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] See: Utility Storage Compartment/Service and Repair/Storage Compartments and
Covers.

Install driver side storage compartment. Refer to => [ Driver Side Storage Compartment ] See: Utility Storage Compartment/Service and
Repair/Storage Compartments and Covers.

Install the radio.

Install the heater controls. Refer to => See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Control Assembly

Install steering wheel:

‹› Three-spoke steering wheel through May 2004. Refer to => [ 3-Spoke Steering Wheel ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service

and Repair/Driver Side Airbag, Through May 2004, Servicing.
