Upper B-pillar Trim, Removing And Installing

Removing

CAUTION:  Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

Remove lower A-pillar trim

-

Remove sill panel trim

-

Remove lower B-pillar trim.

-

Remove bolt - 1 - on three-point seatbelt lower anchorage point - 2 -.

-

Remove bolts - 1 -.

-

Remove lower B-pillar trim from B-pillar until guide pins - 2 - are freed up.

-

Then remove trim downward.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

Slide belt height adjuster on B-pillar all the way down.

-

Position B-pillar trim in installation position.

-

The B-pillar trim adjustment handle must engage on belt height adjuster release lever 2 - and pins - 1 -.
