Lower C-pillar Trim, Removing And Installing

Lower C-pillar Trim, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove rear seat bench.

-

Remove 1/3 rear seat backrest.

-

Remove 2/3 rear seat backrest

-

Unclip rear sill panel strip - 2 - in joint area to lower C-pillar trim - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.

-

Unclip cover plug - 3 - from trim.

-

Remove bolt - 2 -.

-

Carefully remove lower C-pillar trim - 1 - from upper C-pillar trim - 4 - from body and retaining clip - 6 - from threaded pin - arrows -.

-

Remove lower C-pillar trim.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

NOTE:

-

Replace damaged spring clamps.

-

Pull door seal rubber lip - 5 - over lower C-pillar trim edge.

-

Install 2/3 rear seat backrest.

-

Install 1/3 rear seat backrest.

-

Install rear seat bench.

Tightening torque
