Brake Pads

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

‹›  Piston resetting tool (T 10145)

Removing

If reusing brake pads, mark location. Reinstall in same position, otherwise uneven braking will occur.

Remove both front wheels.

-

Disconnect connector - 1 - for brake pad wear indicator, on left brake.

-

Remove caps.

-

Remove guide pins - arrows -.

-

Remove brake caliper and suspend it using bundling wire.

‹› Do not twist or kink brake hose line.

-

Remove brake pads.
