Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Multi-point socket (T40080)

‹› Camshaft locator (T10252)

‹› Pin wrench (T10020)

‹› Securing pin (T10115)

Removing

-

Remove high-pressure pump. => Fuel Injection and Ignition

 24 Removal and Installation.

-

Remove cylinder head cover => [ Cylinder Head Cover ] See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and Repair.

Remove vacuum pump.

-

Remove camshaft adjuster housing - arrows -.

-

Bring marking on camshaft gear to alignment with marking on toothed belt guard. The notches of the camshafts - arrows - now face toward each
other vertically.
