Defroster Flap Motor

Defroster Flap Motor

Vehicles with automatically regulated A/C system

‹› Not installed on vehicles with manually regulated A/C system. The defroster flap is operated via a flexible shaft on vehicles with a manual climate

control system.

‹› On vehicles equipped with an automatic A/C system and RHD, the control motor is attached to the right side of the air distribution housing.

Removing

-

Remove dash panel complete with dash panel cross member.

-

Remove the bracket - A - and the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533) (near the steering column, attached to the bracket - A -) => Body

Interior 70 Removal and Installation and => Electrical Equipment 90 Removal and Installation. 

-

Mark connector - C - to control motor (danger of interchange with other connectors of same construction).

Disconnect connector - C - from Defroster Door Motor (V107).

Remove bolts - A -.

-

Remove control motor - B -.

-

Disengage control motor lever - E - from connecting rod - D -.
