Housing Assembly HVAC: Removal and Replacement

Removing
-
Remove dash panel complete with dash panel cross member.
-
Remove the heater. Refer to => [ Heat Exchanger ] See: Heater Core/Service and Repair/Heat Exchanger
-
Remove bolts - A -.
-
Remove the cover - B -.
-
Disconnect connector - C -.
-
Disengage air intake housing - D - from heater.
Installing
Reinstall all removed components in the opposite sequence while observing the following:

When attaching air intake housing, make sure mounting points - E - and - F - are seated correctly.

Install the wiring harness so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (e.g. the actuating arm of the control motor).
