Check whether recess in igniter housing and recess in contact ring coincide exactly -arrows-.

Position igniter on headlamp.

The lug on starter unit -1- must be inserted into hole on retaining ring -2-.
NOTE: For clarity, the illustration shows retaining ring removed.

Turn igniter clockwise as far as the stop.

Igniter should be easy to turn.

Secure housing cover with retaining clip.

Where applicable, reconnect battery in engine compartment

Where applicable, reconnect battery in luggage compartment
Tightening torque
Headlight beam adjustment motor to headlamp housing - screw: 1 Nm
