Air Filter Element: Service and Repair

Engine Cover With Air Filter Element, Removing And Installing

The air filter element is integrated into the engine cover.

Remove engine cover

-

Open spring clamp - arrow - and remove intake duct.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - from Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor G70.

-

Slide back rubber boot in direction of turbocharger.

-

Pull engine cover off from engine. Be aware of intake hose to Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor G70.

-

Cover open intake hose with a clean rag.

Remove all bolts - arrows -.
