Tap "005 - Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)" function in selection - 1 - and activate by pressing button.

Engine Component Power Supply Relay

Press button repeatedly, until Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 is activated.

NOTE:  Operating noise of Leak Detection Pump (LDP) is audible at right rear wheel housing.

End function "005 - output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)" by pressing button.

-

Select "022 - End output" function in selection.

-

Switch off ignition.

If Leak Detection Pump (LDP) for fuel system is not activated (no operating noise audible):

-

Remove Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144.

Checking internal resistance

-

Connect multimeter for resistance measurement as follows.

Leak detection pump (LDP)

Specified value

Terminal

- 1 - + - 3 -

640 to 720 Ohms

- 2 - + - 3 -

15 to 17 Ohms
