Wastegate Actuator: Service and Repair

Turbocharger Vacuum Diaphragm

Removing

-

Remove turbocharger => [ Turbocharger ] See: Service and Repair

-

Remove securing plate - 1 - over linkage on turbocharger. 

-

Loosen lock nut - 2 -.

-

Disconnect linkage from turbocharger - 3 -.

-

Remove vacuum diaphragm - 1 - from transmission -  arrows -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Vacuum diaphragm for turbocharger, adjusting => [ Turbocharger Vacuum Diaphragm, Adjusting ] See: Adjustments
