Update the Engine Control Module using the SVM action code as listed in the table below.

Note
Do not use a 6017 or 6017A while flashing. Doing so may result in complete control module failure.

Tip: 
The SVM Process must be completed in its entirety so the database receives the update confirmation response. A warranty claim may not be
reimbursed if there is no confirmation response to support the claim.

Tip: 
The electric cooling fan may be activated during the ECM updating procedure.

Update the ECM

Perform basic settings for Intake Flap Motor V157 (channel 142).

If the basic settings for Intake Flap Motor V157 cannot be performed successfully, replace the Intake Flap Motor V157.
