Update the Engine Control Module using the SVM action code as listed in the table below.

Note

Do not use a 6017 or 6017A while flashing. Doing so may result in complete control module failure.

Tip: 
The SVM Process must be completed in its entirety so the database receives the update confirmation response. A warranty claim may not be
reimbursed if there is no confirmation response to support the claim.

Tip:
The electric cooling fan may be activated during the ECM updating procedure.

If one or more of the DTCs listed in the condition section cannot be cleared from the ECM data memory after the ECM has been updated,
diagnose and repair the vehicle following the indications of ElsaWeb repair manual and applicable technical bulletins. These further repairs are not
part of this RVU.
