Automatic Headlamp Range Control Module

Component location: At front of instrument panel carrier in driver side footwell

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or " Guided
Functions".

-

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of (VAS 5051B).

-

Remove the driver storage compartment => Body Interior

 68 Removal and Installation.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

-

Remove screws - 3 - and - 4 - and remove Headlamp Range Control Module (J431)-  item 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

If Headlamp Range Control Module (J431) was replaced, it must be re-coded.

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of (VAS 5051B).

Install the driver storage compartment => Body Interior
