CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

‹› Follow the disposal regulations for pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic Restraint System Component Disposal ] See:

‹› Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static

electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

‹› Always follow side curtain airbag installation procedure.

Side Curtain Airbag

Removing

-

Disconnect the battery ground wire with the ignition off.

-

Remove headliner.

-

Disconnect electrical connector. Refer to => [ (Item 2) Side Curtain Airbag Connector ] by opening securing clip with a screwdriver.

‹› There are different versions of the electrical connector. To disconnect the other electrical connector, proceed as follows => [ Side curtain airbag
