Insert the servo motor with control module into the steering gear housing and tighten the new bolts in a diagonal sequence.

Connect the sensor wire to the control module.

Install new hydraulic thrust piece. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Thrust Piece ] See: Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Hydraulic Thrust Piece.

Install steering gear. Refer to => [ Electromechanical Steering Gear ] See: Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Electromechanical Steering Gear.

Perform a steering angle sensor basic setting.

Perform the adaptation and basic setting for the power steering control module.

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Electromechanical Steering Gear Assembly Overview, Generation I.

Perform vehicle alignment. Refer to => [ Measurement Procedure ] See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Measurement Procedure.
