Steering Lock Housing Adapter Wiring Harness

Lock Cylinder and Ignition Switch with Steering Lock

‹› The immobilizer induction coil is attached to the lock cylinder and cannot be replaced separately.

‹› If induction coil is faulty, lock cylinder must be replaced.

‹› When replacing the lock cylinder, follow the instructions regarding the immobilizer induction coil => Electrical Equipment - General

Steering Lock Housing Adapter Wiring Harness

Removing

-

Remove Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527) => [ Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module ] See: Steering
Column Control Module/Service and Repair/Steering Column Switch Module.

Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - at ignition switch.

-

Release retaining clips in - direction of arrow - and remove ignition key removal lock safety switch electrical connector -  2 -.

Remove steering lock housing adapter wiring harness - 1 -. 

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Install Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527) => [ Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module ] See: Steering
Column Control Module/Service and Repair/Steering Column Switch Module.
