Procedure

‹› Do not turn more than 90° left or right (smallest to largest possible adjustment)

5 - Self-Locking Nut

‹› 95 Nm

‹› Always replace

‹› Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to => [ Rear Axle in Curb Weight Position ] See: Service and Repair/Rear

Axle in Curb Weight Position

‹› Adjust torque wrench VAG 1332 to 80 Nm when tightening nut.

‹› This tightening specification applies only in conjunction with insert tool T10179.

6 - Eccentric Washer

‹› Inner bore with tab

7 - Subframe

‹› Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Subframe with Attachments ] See: Front Subframe/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear

Suspension

8 - Bolt

‹› 90 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

‹› Always replace

9 - Lower Transverse Link

‹› Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Lower Transverse Link ] See: Rear Knuckle Alignment Link/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Rear Suspension/Lower Transverse Link

10 - Self-Locking Nut

‹› 90 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

‹› Always replace
