‹› Depending on the version, different noise insulation may be installed.

Place used oil collection and extraction device ( V.A.G 1782) under transmission.

If equipped, remove oil drain plug - A -.

‹› Oil drain plug - A - is not necessary as of a specific transmission date. In these transmission, transmission fluid is drained only via the inspection

plug - B -. 

-

Allow transmission fluid to drain off.

-

Replace seal - arrow - for drain plug.
