Loosen the sleeve - arrow 1 -.

Allow the sleeve to slide to the stop - arrow 2 -. 

The cable is now adjusted.

Turn lock elbow - A - back into starting position in direction of - arrow 2 - and remove from transmission in direction of - arrow 1 -.

Pull the Connecting Pin (T10027 A) out of the selector mechanism.

Shift lever adjustment, checking

‹› The shift lever must rest in the 3rd/4th gear selector lever gate when the transmission is in neutral.

Actuate clutch.

Select all gears several times. Pay particular attention to the operation of the reverse gear lock

‹› The shift lever must move from the reverse gear selector lever gate into the 3rd/4th gear selector lever gate on its own.

If hooking occurs during repeated selection of a gear, the selector mechanism must be adjusted again.

Install the selector lever boot.
