Cabin Air Filter: Service and Repair

Dust And Pollen Filter Element, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  Clean dust and pollen filter area in the A/C (heating) duct before installing a new filter.

Perform the following work procedure:

Remove clips -A- (different versions -C- and -D-) and remove insulation mat -B-.

Cover floor mat in area of dust and pollen filter with paper.

 Remove bolts -A- if necessary (not present on all vehicles, they secure cover -B- in the event lugs -D- no longer hold it in place).

Push cover -B- in direction of arrow -C- and remove cover.
