  • ‒ Remove radio.

=> Electrical System; Repair group 91

  • ‒ Remove panel for dash panel centre section.

=> Inner Body Assembly; Repair group 68

  • ‒ → Disconnect intake hose -B-.
  • ‒ Remove temperature sensor housing -A- from the retainer.

Notes:

  • ◆ Temperature sensor -C- must not make contact with housing -A-.

  • ◆ Check panel intake grille - it must not be closed.
  • ◆ → With false measurement of temperature sensor -A-:
    • ‒ With operating and display units -E87 with two displays, check blower -V42 -D- and associated intake hose -B- (=>Page 87-83).
    • ‒ With operating and display units -E87 with one display, check blower -V42 (=>Page 87-83). The temperature sensor is permanently installed into -E87.
