Overview

  Caution
Risk of damage to catalytic converter.
The oil level must not be above the „MAX“ mark on the dipstick.
  Note
t  If large quantities of metal shavings or abrasion are found when performing engine repairs, this may be an indication of damage to the crankshaft or conrod bearings. To prevent further damage, the following steps are required after completion of repair work: clean the oil galleries carefully and renew the oil spray jets, engine oil cooler and oil filter.
