Renewing injector seals Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Carrier -3390-

t  Tool set for FSI engines -T10133-

t  Oil seal extractor -T40195-

Procedure –  Remove corresponding injector → Rep. gr.23.

–  Screw oil seal extractor -T40195- into seal -1-. –  Fit striker -T10133/3- with adapter -T10133/2- on oil seal extractor, as shown in illustration, and pull out seal upwards by tapping gently.

–  Apply carrier -3390- and short extension -1- at top and press new injector seal in as far as stop. –  Install injector → Rep. gr.23.
