  WARNING
The fuel system is pressurised. The fuel pressure in the high-pressure part of the injection system must be reduced to a residual pressure prior to opening; for procedure see → Chapter.
   
1 - Fuel pressure sender for low pressure -G410-
q   Not fitted on engines with code letters BVZ and BVY
2 - Fuel pipes
q   Install so that parts are free of tension
3 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 10 Nm
4 - Gasket
q   Renew
5 - Fuel rail with intake manifold flap motor -V157- and intake manifold flap potentiometer -G336-
6 - Clip
7 - Connection piece
8 - Fuel pipe
q   Install so that parts are free of tension
9 - 17 Nm
q   With tapered sealing seat
q   Ensure parts are kept clean
10 - 10 Nm
11 - Connector
q   For injectors
12 - Pressure limiting valve
q   30 Nm
13 - Fuel pressure sender -G247-
q   15 Nm
14 - Cable retainer
15 - Injector, cylinder 1 -N30- ... injector, cylinder 4 -N33-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
16 - Air guide plate
q   Removable
q   Check for damage and correct fitting
