Removing and installing engine speed senderG28
Removing and installing engine speed sender -G28-
   
Removing
–  Remove noise insulation -1- → Rep. gr.66.
–  Loosen hose clip -2- and remove air hose.
  Note
Disregard -item 1-.
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at charge pressure sender -G31-.

–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Release retaining clip -3- and move coolant hose clear.
–  Loosen hose clip -2- at throttle valve module -J338- and remove air pipe downwards.

–  Unplug electrical connector -2-.
–  Remove bolt -arrow- and move pump for exhaust gas recirculation cooler -V400- to one side with hoses connected.

–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at engine speed sender -G28- using assembly tool -T10118-.
  Note
To release electrical connector without assembly tool -T10118-, press connector on engine speed sender in with a screwdriver and at the same time lift release tab with a thin wire hook.

–  Remove bolt -arrow- for engine speed sender -G28-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque: refer to overview of fitting locations → Chapter „Overview of fitting locations“.
