Exhaust Camshaft Balance Shaft

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Puller (T10394)

‹› Puller (T10055)

Removing

‹› The exhaust camshaft balance shaft must be replaced after removal.

Remove camshaft timing chain. Refer to => [ Camshaft Timing Chain ] See: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair/Camshaft
Timing Chain.

Remove balance shaft timing chain. Refer to => [ Balance Shaft Timing Chain ] See: Cylinder Block Assembly/Balance Shaft Chain/Service and
Repair/Balance Shaft Timing Chain.

Remove bolt - 1 - on the exhaust camshaft balance shaft.

-

Install the Half Shell (T10394/1) from the Puller (T10394).

-

Install the Puller (T10394) and push the sliding sleeve in direction of - arrow -.
