Remove all bolts from intake manifold.

-

Carefully pull intake manifold with fuel rail away from cylinder head slightly.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - from intake manifold runner position sensor (G336) and remove intake manifold.

‹› The fuel injectors could remain stuck in fuel rail.

‹› Seal intake channels with a clean cloth.

Disconnect intake manifold from fuel rail => [ Fuel Rail, Removing and Installing ]. 

Installing

Mount intake manifold onto cylinder head on stud bolts (lower left and right).

‹› Make sure fuel injectors are installed correctly.

-

Further installation is in reverse order.
