Removing
CAUTION!
Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

Remove front seat:

‹› Power seat => [ Power Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Front Seats

Secure the seat on the fixture for seat repair ( VAS 6136). Refer to => [ Front Seat, Installing on VAS 6136 ] See: Body and
Frame/Seats/Description and Operation/Front Manual Seats.

If present, disconnect connector (black) under seat not shown in illustration for belt fastened detection warning tone.

Remove the bolt - 2 -.

Remove seat belt latch - 1 -.
Installing
CAUTION!
Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

Replace the seat belt latch bolt.
‹› Note that there are different tightening specifications depending on the seat version.
